And now, some thoughts…You know, there are seasons when leadership, mirroring life, looks like slowing down, more listening, and choosing wisely. I’m definitely entering one of those quieter seasons now…in my leadership and my life. 

As Lead Like Big Mama moves from Wix to Substack, I’m choosing to lead my “Big Mama” work differently. Not by pushing out more blog content, but by honoring what this season is asking of me – my presence, more reflection, and selectivity. Leadership doesn’t necessarily disappear when the pace slows. It deepens. It shifts. And I am honoring that…

Substack will soon become the new home for Lead Like Big Mama - a space for thoughtful conversation, intergenerational learning, and leadership grounded in lived experiences. And as part of this next chapter, I’m creating Weekly Wisdom Cards: “Big Mama Says…” - nuggets of wisdom in three simple words paired with a short reflection or message. Think of it like sitting at a kitchen table or on a porch for a quiet moment – offering you something to sit with, reflect on, not rush past.

Finally, I want to thank you for coming along. This Big Mama’s still here to share wisdom and knowledge, the rhythm is just changing. Next week, I’ll share another Weekly Wisdom Card as a simple reminder for the road ahead.
